Thank you for sending in your films for MTM9!
We are currently closed for submissions, but please check back in the Summer of ‘09 for our next call for entries information.
All submissions to MTM9 have now been alerted as to their status.
If you have not received an email from us, please first check your JUNK mail box as it may have been misdirected.
Many submissions did not provide us with an email address, however, all winning films have been confirmed so if you have not heard from us, you have not been selected as one of the twelve winners.
Due to the large amount of submissions, we cannot give personalized feedback, but please know that while there are a variety of reasons a film may not get in – from topic, to pacing, to its ability to be shown to a school-aged audience, among others – it often simply boils down to the specific collection we develop each year.
We appreciate you taking part in the very rich selection of films that we received this year and hope you continue to make great films.
We also hope you will follow our festival launch online and continue to be part of our MediaRights.org community. We will keep you updated as to next year’s submission deadlines as they arise, or you can check back here later in the fall to see submission guidelines for the tenth annual Media That Matters Film Festival, as they are subject to change yearly.
