BECOMING ME
Produced by In The Life Media

Eight families with transgender and gender non-conforming children ranging in ages from 5 to 25 share their stories. With the healthy development of their children at stake, parents must confront binary perceptions of gender, widespread transphobia and controversial parenting decisions.

I’M JUST ANNEKE (MTM10)
Directed and Produced by Jonathan Skurnik

Anneke is 12-year-old tomboy who loves ice hockey. Everybody she meets assumes she’s a boy. The onset of puberty has created an identity crisis for Anneke. Does she want to be a boy or a girl when she grows up, or something in between?

SLIP OF THE TONGUE (MTM6)
Directed by Karen Lum
Produced by Youth Sounds Factory

Using slam poetry as a soundtrack, Slip of the Tongue is adapted from a spoken word poem by Adriel Luis looking at perceptions of beauty, ethnicity, and body image.

I’M NOT A BOY (MTM7)
Directed by Julie Joyce
Produced by Listen Up! & Frame by Frame Fierce

Julie Joyce is not a boy. She is more than just an intense, fast-talking New York City sixteen-year-old. She’s a trans-gendered youth who wants what all young people want to be heard and to have a positive space to live and grow.
