June 4: Locusts Artist to Perform at Southpaw in Brooklyn, NY at 9pm

Invincible, a hip-hop artist featured in the upcoming ninth annual Media That Matters film Locusts, will be performing in Brooklyn the night of the awards ceremony! Check out this link for more information.

In Locusts, Detroit Hip-Hop artist Invincible rhymes about gentrification and displacement in the city. Talib Kweli has called her “one of most talented emcees I’ve ever met, black or white, male of female.” She is actively involved in social justice, taking her music beyond entertainment and working towards the change she wants to see.
