4/11: Free Screening of Superstar (MTM7) and Jesse Owens doc at Harlem Stage

Join us for a free screening of Harlem Stage on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 for a screening of the MTM short SUPERSTAR. Winner of the Emerging Voice Award, Superstar documents one young man’s quest to realize his dreams. Filmmaker Naiquan Green will be in attendance for the post-screening Q&A.

Our MTM short film will screen alongside Laurens Grant’s feature, JESSE OWENS. Produced, directed and written by the team behind the Emmy-Award-winning documentary Freedom Riders (Laurens Grant and Stanley Nelson) bring you the story of the most famous athlete of his time, whose stunning triumph at the 1936 Olympic Games captivated the world.
