Detainee Abuses Exposed

In Cynthia Fujikawa's Day of Remembrance, 19-year old Nadin Hamoui speaks out about the horrors of her 9 month detention by the FBI. Her mother who was being held with her in the same cell, died after not getting proper medical care, depite numerous attempts to get help and medicines. There continue to be thousands of Arab-Americans and other individuals who are being detained in prisons under threat of deportation and with no legal representation. National Public Radio has done a multi-part investigative report on these cases, exposing cases of abuse, neglect and cover-ups.
