Chris Irrizarry Wins a National Student Emmy

Have you seen Happy Ending from the fifth annual Media That Matters Film Festival? Director Chris Irrizarry just won a National Student Emmy Award for Best Documentary with this courageous short film. Accepting his award on June 9th, Chris said "When I walked on the stage, it was like, wow! I'm actually winning an Emmy! I felt noticed. I felt appreciated for the work that I did. It made me think what other stories I could tell.� Chris is part of the Reel Works Teen Filmmaking new Master Class where he is developing a new documentary about himself and his three brothers, all of whom have dealt with their mother�s addiction differently.
