September 24: Continental Drift FF, Saint John, Canada

Posted on August 30, 2005

The 2nd Annual Continental Drift Short Film Festival is screening a selection of Media That Matters Film Festival films. Continental Drift is an annual showcase for independent short films from around the world. Hosted in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, the festival will provide the Atlantic Canadian audience exposure to exciting contemporary films to which they would otherwise have limited access. It will strive to present the works of new and less-exhibited film-makers from around the world to a North American audience.

On September 24th, Media That Matters shorts will be part of the Free Saturday Matinee. Three MTM films will are set to be screened: The News Is What We Make It, Children of Birmingham and Laugh at the Fat Kid. Other films that afternoon include shorts by young Saint John filmmakers, an animated short from Sweden, and a selection of films from the CIFEJ "Kids for Kids Festival."
