Posted on June 06, 2005

On June 7th, the fourth annual Media That Matters Film Festival will be in Sydney Australia. Sydney's premiere independent cinema The Valhalla will host the festival tomorrow evening and the screening will be followed by a discussion with some home-grown independent and alternative media makers, including "Actively Radical TV" who broadcast social justice news and issues via a community satellite service. Along with helping to highlight the international dimemsion to social justice, the event is hoping to generate momentum towards the Sydney Social Forum which is happening at the end of August.
