The third annual NYC Grassroots Media Conference is taking place on February 11, 2006 at New School University.
The NYC Grassroots Media Conference is the place to be if you're a young activist seeking to reach a larger audience with your message, a youth producer looking to gain new skills and network, or someone interested in learning more about media activism. Join Arts Engine's Shira Golding and Wendy Cohen for a workshop on DIY Distribution: Strategies and Challenges taking place 10:00-11:30 am. Learn how to harness the power of partnerships to reach audiences and make change. This presentation will also include an introduction to Fair Use and recent efforts by filmmakers to protect it.
Early Registration is $5 for Youth 20 and under and $20 for adults - $30 at the door
