Have you seen Young Agrarians? The films explores the benefits of purchasing and eating fruits and vegtables from local farms. When the Appleton Central Alternative High School replaced soda with water in vending machines and hamburgres and french fries with salad bars and whole grain foods in the cafeteria, the results were shocking: the students became nicer. The principle of Appleton Central Alterntive says "I don’t have the vandalism. I don’t have the litter. I don’t have the need for high security."
