Prison Officials Sued for Sexual Assualt Behind Bars

Today's New York Times includes an editorial about Roderick Johnson who is suing prison officials accusing them of violating his rights under the Eighth Amendment, which prohibits cruel and unusual punishment.

Our third annual Media That Matters Film Festival included a film No Escape, Prison Rape that shed light on the sexual violations occuring in prisons and was part of the campaign to pass Prison Rape Elimination Act of 2003.
