Meet The Military Free Zone

Posted on May 24, 2005

The youth-produced film All That I Can Be profiles a teenager who chooses to enroll in the army when he believes he has few other options.

The decision to enlist is complex and very personal but recent military recruitment practices in high schools suggest that the army may be targeting you even if you have never showed interest.

Justin Sane founded an organization called Military Free Zone to educate the public and hopefully alter the a provision of the No Child Left Behind legislation that states: If you attend a public high school, your school system is required to turn over your private information to the U.S. military unless you opt out.

Read an interview with Justin Sane published on Alternet.

Take action and opt-out of the No Child Left Behind provision from Military Free Zone.
