iThemba Director Premieres New Film

Have you seen iThemba from the fouth annual Media That Matters Film Festival? Director Keefe Murren has has completed a new feature-length documentary, August in the Empire State.

Using the Republican National Convention and the animated reaction of New Yorkers as its backdrop, August in the Empire State delves into the forgotten debate over the growth of poverty in America. It is having its festival premiere at the New York Underground Film Festival.
