Getting Out the Vote: The Voting Rights Act Turns 40

In acknowledging the 40th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act (VRA) of 1965, it is crucial that we commemorate the importance of this historic legislation but also address the flaws and discrimination that still exists in the American voting system.
