June 17-19: Allied Media Conference, Bowling Green, OH
Have you seen The News Is What We Make It?. Media conglomeration continues to plague our media landscape and concerned media users, activists and reformers are converging at the Allied Media Conference (AMC) to find new solutions to the old problems.
From June 17-19 the AMC will host the largest gathering of grassroots media makers from all across the country at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. The conference features hands-on workshops, group discussions, film screenings, artist presentations, a large exhibition hall to share, collaborate and strategize. Additionally, there is an entire day for educators to learn how to use independent media in the classroom.
