Voting Rights for Mexicans Living in the USA

If you've watched Alex Rivera's The Sixth Section than you know about the many Mexican citizens who live and work in the United States in order to support their families and communities back in Mexico.

Unfortunately, most of estimated 20.6 million Mexicans living in the US cannot vote in the US elections, and even though they have a huge impact on the Mexican economy, they are unable to vote in Mexican elections either. Mexican President Vicente Fox is trying to create an absentee ballot voting system that will allow Mexicans living in the US to participate in the democratic process regardless of their residential status.
