If you have checked out the Just Media Project then you are aware of the problem of media conglomeration and how it threatens independent and dissenting voices. This issue is particularly vital as the US Presidential elections approach.
Here's an opportunity to get involved:
Take Back the Media March
Sept 1
7 pm - 10 pm
Converge on 52nd St. between 6th and 7th Avenues in front of CBS
Rally/march against the corporate media.
It's time to take back the media. Will stop for protest and speakers at various corporate media companies in Manhattan (CBS, NBC, CNN, FOX).
