Running for Change!

At the Media That Matters Film Festival, we believe in filming for change and watching for change, now its time to Run for Change! In Novela, Novela, television charactres are used to raise awareness on women's rights and women's issues in Nicaragua. Local communities throughout North America will be commemorating the 32nd anniversary of the historical verdict of Roe v. Wade. Running for Change is a New York based group dedicated to building a more progressive America and on January 22, 2005 they are hosting the first Run for Change for women's rights.

Saturday, January 22- 2pm
Meet at the SE corner of Central Park- 59th Street and 5th Avenue- run over to 7th Avenue and down to 34th Street to the Ginger Man to celebrate our first run as Running For Change!
