Media That Matters Screens at Ascension

The third and fourth annual Media That Matters Film Festivals will screen on Sunday April 29 as part of Enlightened Production's Ascension, a celebration of the positive potential of creative collaboration to transform the world.

The Lineup:
DJ's Sabo and Sid L'Vaga will be spinning organic beats from 6 to 8:30pm.
The Slip will perform two sets of music from 8:30 till midnight.
Sharodka's West African Drum Troupe will perform at 10pm.
VJs will be mixing visuals, Butoh dance and performance art and a collaborative art piece all night long.
Screenings of 1 Giant Leap and short works from the Media That Matters Film Festival will be projected throughout the event.
Sambazon Brazilian Juice will be providing exotic rainforest juices and Brooklyn Brewery beer will be served at the bar.
Tickets are $10 with partial proceeds going to various nonprofits including the New York Indy Media Center, HeadCount and MediaRights.
