Media That Matters Is Going to Kentucky!

On March 23, 2005, Media That Matters is traveling to Appalshop's Appalachian Media Institute (AMI). AMI produced the Festival film Struggling to Survive about the minimum wage crisis in Eastern Kentucky. Since 1988, AMI has been educating and inspiring young people in the Eastern Kentucky region learn how to use video cameras and audio equipment to document the unique traditions and complex issues of their mountain communities.

Producers Dana, Ashley and Mary, will attend along with the Debbie, main subject of the film to talk with the audience and answer questions following the screening.
