Posted on October 08, 2004

For the third year running, the Media That Matters Traveling Film Festival hits Miami next week as part of the Florida Room Documentary Film Festival. organized by MediaRights' founding member Juan Carlos Zaldívar (90 Miles, Soldier's Pay, How to Make a Bird). The Festival's tagline is "It's politically charged," and indeed it is. The focus of the festival is, as always, to highlight social-issue media, and this year the organizers are particularly eager to screen these films before the elections.

Sarah Christman and Jen Simmons' Bush for Peace screens before Control Room on Saturday, October 16 at 8pm outdoors on Espanola Way, Miami Beach.

Other films from the Festival will be screened at the Miami Beach Cinematheque throughout the week.
