I Promise Africa at Rooftop Films

Last Friday night, Rooftop Films screened the first of many Media That Matters Festival films. Jerry Henry's I Promise Africa was part of a program entitled Home Movies. A nearly sold-out audience braved the stormy weather and enjoyed the screening that was moved to a beautiful loft space. The other 17 shorts of the program touched upon memory and documentations and were an eclectic mix of animation, still photography, cinema verite and more.
Media That Matters films make their next appearance at Rooftop on July 4th 2004 as part of a series called Un-American Films.
