Haley House Hosts a DIY Screening

The Haley House in Boston, MA is hosting a Media That Matters Screening as part of our Do It Yourself Screening Month.

Haley House is not for profit, formed in 1966 in the personalist tradition of Dorothy Day, the foundress of the Catholic Worker Movement. Haley House is grounded in non-violence and serves the needs of the marginalized in Boston's South End. Haley House's programming includes an intentional community, a soup kitchen, a street magazine, What's Up, a bakery and economic development program which trains unemployed and underemployed people in high end baking skills. Haley House also owns and manages low income housing and operates an organic farm in Winchenden Springs, MA. Haley House has a long history of advocacy for the disenfranchised.
