Have you seen Lean On Me and Children of Birmingham? These youth produced films highlight the power of youth empowerment and civic engagement.

April 15-17 2005 mark Global Youth Service Day! On these days, millions of young people in countries everywhere are highlighting and carrying out thousands of community improvement projects. GYSD offers a way for local, national, and international organizations to: BUILD, EDUCATE, MOBILIZE and LEARN.

Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) is an annual global event organized by Youth Service America and the Global Youth Action Network, together with a consortium of 32 International Organizations and well over 100 National Coordinating Committees that Celebrates, Recognizes, and Mobilizes youth activism.
