Ascension Screening

On Sunday August 29th, Enlightened Production's Ascension took place at OfficeOps in Brooklyn. As New York City prepared for the Republican National Convention and protesters were taking to the streets, Ascension offered a calm recluse from the city that was erupting in poltical dissent.
Ascension welcomed over 100 people to the roof of this Williamsburg building for a celebration of the positive potential of creative collaboration to transform the world. The spectacular unobstructed view of the city was complimented by music by DJ's Sabo and The Slip and drinks from Sambazon Brazilian Juice.
MediaRights set up a table and projected the Third Annual Media That Matters Film Festival on the second floor of the space. We ran the festival twice in its entirety and welcomed viewers who came in from the roof to watch a few shorts at a time. Following our festival was a screening of 1 Giant Leap.
Media That Matters was thrilled to be at Ascension and we thank all of those who came out!
