a beautiful film filled with grit, life and delicacy. very powerful. i know it's only 6 minutes from his life that we get to see, a 6 minutes of beautiful energy. we don't see his exhaustion pushing that cart mile after mile: we must imagine. we don't see him being hassled: we must imagine. and, the history and mettle in his voice help us imagine. beautiful use of color. the water hose being stretched from the recycling center and used to both clean himself and nourish the plants was an excellent image. him spraying the water up over the plants; him becoming the rain we all rely on. thanks for an excellent piece.
