Garance Burke and Monica Lam, Directors and Producers
Garance Burke and Monica Lam brought their diverse experiences in print and television together in the fall of 2004 to collaborate on The Rules of the Game. Burke has also covered the Chiapas conflict in Mexico for Frontline/WORLD, while Lam has produced a film about Muslims in China for Frontline/WORLD. Burke currently reports on demographics and politics for the Associated Press in the Midwest, and Lam’s next project is a documentary about the building of a creationist natural history museum in Kentucky. Both Burke and Lam are graduates of the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.
