Stephen Sotor and Trace Gaynor, Directors & Producers
Stephen Sotor and Trace Gaynor made their first film, A Tween’s Life (2004) when they were eleven. Their second film, award-winning Genie in a Bottle Unleashed (2005) is about the first atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. They are currently working on their fourth film about peace using footage from Stephen’s trip to Hiroshima and Nagasaki in the summer of 2006.
Trace, age fourteen, does the interviewing and composes and plays all background music. Stephen, age fourteen, does the camerawork and the editing. Both boys are freshman at York Community High School in Elmhurst, Illinois.
