Andrés Tabares, Director

Andrés Tabares, AKA Chucky, Pinky, Tack, Scratch, Elf, Dwarf, and Goblin, was thirteen when he made Rapping at Fear, with the support of Polimorfo. Following Rapping at Fear, Andrés joined City TV Bogotá as a children’s TV host for about a year. He continues to perform rap in Cazuca and belongs to a theater group in Taller de Vida. He is in his last year of high school and is also studying a special Graphic Design program in “El minuto de Dios.”

Listen Up!, Producer

Listen Up! is a youth media network that connects young video producers and their allies to resources, support and projects in order to develop the field and achieve an authentic youth voice in the mass media.

Polimorfo, Producer

Polimorfo is a collective of filmmakers and anthropologists who work with marginalized communities throughout Colombia. Polimorfo is dedicated to alternative communication, interested in producing and spreading messages which speak from and for sectors unrepresented by the massive means of communication. They also assist youth to form communication skills and strategies to take initiative in the diffusion, discussion, and action over their own needs and dreams, as well as promote their creativity.
