Public Interest, Producer
Public Interest was founded by a group of film and financial professionals who saw the need to fill an important niche in the world of advertising. Public Interest develops and produces PSAs (Public Service Announcements) and other short-form film and video projects that help its partner nonprofit organizations communicate their message as effectively as possible to reach their target audiences.
Public Interest produces top-quality PSAs with some of the top creative talent at the top facilities in Hollywood. Taking the Emmy two times in a row for Best Public Service Campaign in 2002 and 2003, Public Interest continues to educate the public about issues pertaining to health, safety, discrimination and civil rights by producing programming while maximizing entertainment value, information content and production values.
Dave Isser, Executive Producer
Dave Isser has supervised over a dozen major productions for Public Interest. His proven expertise is in minimizing costs, mainly through in-kind donations from vendors and crew, while maintaining top-notch production values. Prior to Public Interest, he served as the Director of Development for Carol Baum Productions, working on films such as The Good Girl and Carolina.
