Gabrielle Weiss, Director and Producer

Gabrielle Weiss is a New York based filmmaker and photographer who has directed and shot numerous documentaries taking her to many countries around the world such as Brazil, Cuba, Argentina, Spain, Venezuela, Thailand, and Bolivia, and across the U.S. Her work has appeared on PBS, HBO, Discovery/Times and A&E among other networks. She is a recipient of numerous grants from the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, which also supported Ghost Train in Argentina, Che’s Anatomy in Cuba and Clouds Over Iguacu in Brazil and Paraguay. She is currently directing a feature length documentary about African-American farmers and their struggle to save their land.
