ABOUT THE FILM

Director Juan Carlos Zaldivar comes from a long line of bird breeders. When going to summer camp as a child in Cuba, he was given a messenger pigeon in a shoe-box, which he released when he arrived to let his parents know that he got there safely. He hopes that the film will call attention to and serve the needs organizations working to protect wildlife.
