More About Director and Producer Jacob Caggiano
Jacob began his film career at Pullman High School in the suburban bubble of Pullman, Washington. He started out by making idiotic shorts such as a music video for a song about his jock itch titled “Flaming Nufkin” and an exercise commercial called “Total Gothic Workout” for people who hate sunlight. Somehow he grew up and went to college where he realized that life had a purpose other than goofy antics and low-brow humor. He became fascinated with social issues and the plight of billions of people who struggle to live a life that he once took for granted, and is now devoted to civic engagement and empowerment. Jacob hopes to change lives through the extraordinary power of film and activism, and is particularly committed to democratizing media and promoting media literacy.
