Melissa Krodman, Producer and Director
Melissa is a producer and artist living in Washington, D.C. By day, she is the Associate Producer for Discovery Channel Global Education Partnership (DCGEP). Through DCGEP, she is currently involved with the production of an environmental series for the developing world and a feature-length dramatic film about HIV for Africa. By night, she is a writer, dancer and budding performance artist. She recently created and produced “The Mother Flower,” a collection of original music, films and performance pieces by women exploring womanhood, sexuality and self-discovery. Diana was produced while she was a Program Manager for Project: Think Different in Boston, Massachusetts. She holds a degree from Boston University’s Department of Film and Television, in which she studied writing and production for television as well as media criticism. She likes to wear costumes, drink coffee and is a die-hard enthusiast of Fatback - the best ever soul and funk night to rock the nation’s capital.

Brynmore Williams, Producer and Director
Brynmore has been soothing lounges and distorting dance-floors in Boston for almost ten years with his intricate blend of dub, experimental treats and lazy-boy beats. The prominent Boston underground newspaper, Weekly Dig, says “Brynmore represents everything that is right about DJ culture” and The Boston Phoenix magazine Stuff@Night notes, “Brynmore…blurs the lines between genres and styles…and constructs a story with his records.” Brynmore is currently hosting residencies at The Middlesex Lounge and The Good Life and frequently appears as a guest at others with his partner in crime Burning Babylon.

Patrick White
Patrick is the Director of Development for JWM Productions in Maryland. Some of his proudest achievements include surviving a direct fecal hit from a Marabou stork (the largest scavenging bird in Africa), landing a 150-pound tarpon on a fly rod, avoiding maturity for 29 years, and creating Fatback - the best soul and funk dance party ever to rock our nation’s capital.

Cara Lisa Powers
Cara holds her BA in Screen Studies with a focus in Urban Development/Social Change from Clark University and is currently a candidate for her MA in Transformative Media Arts and Ethnomusicology from Goddard College. Currently, she is the Media Education Organizer at Project: Think Different and the Founder of By Any Media Necessary.
Project: Think Different
Project: Think Different is a nonprofit media organization established in March 2002. Their mission is to create a renaissance in music, film and video media education that increases engagement in civic dialogue and action among disenfranchised communities to ensure equity and fairness. Our programs provide education, incentives and access to socially conscious and socially responsible messages in the media arts while also providing content and forums that inspire and enroll the broader public in action for change. Project: Think Different uses the media arts as an organizing tool to reach disenfranchised young people and enable them to “think differently” and think big about their ability to create positive change in their lives, communities and society at large. The organization believes that effective problem-solving begins at the local level with people who identify a common concern and understand that they have the power to bring about lasting change. By educating and empowering everyday people to create compelling solution-oriented messages in music, film and video, Project: Think Different is shifting the current media landscape while increasing public awareness of community issues and the perspectives and priorities of many disadvantaged and underserved populations.
