Sara Hopman, Director and Producer

Sara HopmanChicago-born Sara Hopman is a writer/director and cinematographer. Her works are dynamic, and range from music videos, to documentaries, to experimental narratives.

In her final semester before graduation at San Diego State University, Sara has recently been handpicked to direct The Jury Project—a short film adaptation of an Edward Albee play. The world-renowned playwright and other professional artists will be critiquing the film in May, in front of a live audience.

Sara has also just launched her new company $1k Music Vids® and has a new short documentary in the works.
